Kaduwela Interchange of Expressway Temporarily Closed

 This decision was made due to the overflow of the Kelani River and subsequent flooding around the Kaduwela Interchange on the Biyagama road, following continuous heavy rains.

As a result, vehicles traveling from Kadawatha and exiting towards Kaduwela, as well as those entering towards Kadawatha, are unable to use the interchange.

However, the flow of traffic along many roads across various parts of the island has been disrupted due to floods.
