The NE Commercial Group of Companies (Pvt) Ltd. has paid Rs. 23 million to the Sri Lanka Railway Department for filming a joint Indo-Sri Lankan cinema project, confirmed Railways Deputy General Manager N.J. Indipolage.

As a result, train services between Colombo Fort and Badulla will be limited to the Ella station until October 15. Daily restrictions are in place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to facilitate the film shoot on the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, located between Ella and Demodara railway stations.

In response to the service disruption, buses will be provided for passenger transport between Ella and Bandarawela during this period. The Odyssey train service will also be adjusted: trains from Colombo Fort to Badulla will only operate up to Ella on October 10, 11, 12, and 14, while those returning will start from Ella.

The project, approved by the Transport Ministry, aims to promote tourism in the region following the film's release. The Railways Department encourages passengers to plan their travel accordingly during this time.
