Upcountry trains to end at Ella due to movie shoot

Srilanka Railway announced that upcountry trains from Colombo and Kandy will terminate at Ella from 9th October today to 15th October due to a joint Indo-Sri Lanka film being shot on the iconic Nine Arches Bridge.
Trains will not proceed to Badulla between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily. Similarly, trains heading in the opposite direction will start from Ella or Bandarawela instead of Badulla during this period.
