“I’ve been coming to this fair for years, and it never disappoints,” Anjali Perera, a local teacher, told the Zira Daily. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover new authors and reconnect with old favorites.” Many visitors echoed her sentiments, highlighting the fair’s role in promoting reading and literacy in the community.
Parents and children have taken advantage of the fair’s family-friendly events. “My kids love the storytelling sessions,” Malini Dias, who brought her two children, shared with the Zira Daily “It’s a great way to instill a love for reading in them."
It has also hosted several panel discussions and workshops, drawing in aspiring writers and enthusiasts.
