During a meeting yesterday (1st October) at the Presidential Secretariat, JICA Chief Representative Mr. Yamada Tetsuya and senior representatives met with Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, to discuss accelerating these initiatives.
The discussion follows the Japanese Ambassador’s recent call for the swift completion of 11 ongoing JICA-supported projects in Sri Lanka. Japanese Embassy Second Secretary Mr. Katsuhiro Suzuki also attended the meeting.
