IMF Delegation to Visit Colombo for Economic Discussions

A high-level International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation, led by Krishna Srinivasan, Director of the Asia Pacific Department, is scheduled to visit Colombo from 2nd October to 4th October. The delegation will meet with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Sri Lanka's new economic team to discuss recent economic developments and reforms under the IMF-supported program.
An IMF spokesperson confirmed that the visit will focus on Sri Lanka’s economic progress, with a statement expected at the conclusion of the discussions.
