The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and its alliance, Samagi Jana Sandhanaya, have undergone a significant leadership reshuffle. New members have been appointed to several prominent positions in the party by Sajith Premadasa, the leader of SJB.
Former MP Imthiaz Bakeer Markar has been named Chairman of the SJB, while former Kegalle District MP Kabir Hashim was appointed as General Secretary of the SJB Alliance. Additionally, former Gampaha District MP Harshana Rajakaruna has been appointed Chairman of the SJB Gampaha District.
