Government employees who were unable to cast their postal votes on September 4th 5thor 6th were given another chance to vote yesterday and today.

Voters can visit their district election office or Divisional Secretariat where their workplace is located to cast their postal vote.

The Election Commission emphasized that after today, government employees who applied for postal voting will no longer be able to cast postal votes.

Proof of identity is mandatory for casting the postal vote producing the National Identity Card, Valid Driving Licence, Valid Passport or Temporary Identity Card issued by the Elections Commission
