Four women injured in landmine explosion in Mankulam

Four women were injured after a land mine exploded while they were clearing mines in Mankulam,Thunukkai area in Vavuniya.
Police said the women who were working for a NGO engaged in demining land mines buried by the LTTE, Inured women admitted to the Mankulam base hospital.
They were later transferred to the Kilinochchi Hospital for further treatment.
The Thunukkai Police are carrying out further investigations.
