The General Secretariat of the Parliament issued an announcement saying that the Parliament is scheduled to meet on 03rd and 04th september.
This decision was confirmed by Parliamentary Secretary General following a meeting of the Committee On Parliamentary Business chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.
The morning session has been allocated for verbal responses to parliamentary questions.
The agenda includes the Second Reading of several significant bills: the Bill for the Reciprocal Recognition, Registration and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments, the Criminal Procedure Code Amendment Bill, and the National Minimum Wage of Workers Bill.
