IndiGo to commence daily flights between Chennai and Jaffna

Low-cost airline IndiGo has announced Jaffna in Sri Lanka as the newest addition in its international route network. The airline will start non-stop daily flights between Chennai and Jaffna, started from today 01st of September
The airline also operates daily flights to Colombo from Chennai and Bangalore. AASL also announced that the Palali airport is now being upgraded with extended runway and bigger duty free shops and other facilities too would be introduced.

The Jaffna airport is already receiving direct flights from Air India and this would be the second international airline to operate to the Northern airport.
