Sajith Premadasa enters 2024 presidential race

MP Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the Opposition, has officially announced his candidacy for the 2024 Presidential election. 

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara has submitted the necessary deposit on Premadasa's behalf, marking his formal entry into the race.

With this move, Premadasa becomes the sixth candidate to secure his place in the upcoming presidential contest.
