Sri Lanka’s Ganga Seneviratne tops first heat in Women’s 100m backstroke

Sri Lanka’s Ganga Seneviratne won her heat in the Women’s 100m backstroke at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a time of 1:04.26 seconds. 

Despite her impressive performance, Seneviratne did not advance to the semi-finals, finishing 30th out of 36 swimmers overall and falling short of the top 16 qualifying times.
