Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has promised a USD 100,000 award prize to the Sri Lankan women’s team, led by Chamari Athapaththu, for winning their first-ever Women’s Asia Cup.
Sri Lanka women defeated Indian women by 8 wickets to win first ever Women Asian Championship.
The Asian Cricket Council awarded USD25,000 for the winning Sri Lankan team along with the throphy.
