Tourist arrivals in Sri Lanka shows significant growth

Sri Lanka's tourism sector has reported a significant increase, with 127,925 tourists arriving in the past three weeks, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority.
The influx was led by visitors from India, who numbered 30,442. The island also welcomed substantial numbers from Britain, China, Germany, and the Netherlands.
This recent boost brings the total number of tourist arrivals for 2024 to 1,138,174.
