An Inspector and a Constable of the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) have been arrested for accepting a bribe.
According to the Bribery Commission, the officers were caught while accepting a bribe of Rs.150,000. The Commission stated that the two officers had initially solicited a sum of Rs.450,000 as a bribe.
