The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has arrested a former storekeeper of the Hulftsdorp Court complex in connection with the disappearance of foreign liquor bottles worth approximately Rs. 20 million from the court's storage facility.
The suspect has been remanded until July 16 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate.
Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe recently revealed this incident in Parliament, noting that the forensic report indicated the storeroom door had been opened with the appropriate key before the theft occurred.
