Sri Lanka announces fuel price reductions

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced a reduction in fuel prices effective from tonight. The price adjustments are as follows:

- A litre of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane Euro 4 has been reduced by 11 rupees, bringing the new retail price to 344 rupees from the previous 355 rupees.

- A litre of Lanka Petrol 95 Octane Euro 4 has seen a substantial decrease of 41 rupees, with the new retail price set at 379 rupees, down from 420 rupees.

- A litre of Lanka Auto Diesel has been reduced by 22 rupees, making the new price 355 rupees, down from 377 rupees.

However, there are no changes in the prices of Lanka Super Diesel 4 Star Euro 4 and Lanka Kerosene, which remain at 317 rupees and 202 rupees per litre, respectively.
