Two Navy personnel attached to the Intelligence Unit have been arrested by the Sri Lanka Navy's Special Investigation Unit over their alleged involvement in a large-scale drug smuggling racket.
The arrests were conducted today following an extensive internal investigation.
The suspects, accused of aiding and abetting the drug smuggling operation, are set to be transferred to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further legal proceedings.
