The government has decided to pay a special monthly allowance of twenty five thousand rupees to the officers of the executive service category of the public service, regardless of the length of service, instead of the special allowance paid so far based on the length of service.
The circular that this allowance is also available to the officers of the Sri Lanka Engineering Service and the Architect Service as well as the Sri Lanka Surveying Service.
This special allowance for executive officers will be effective from July 1st.
