In a sweeping 24-hour operation across the island, police arrested a total of 807 suspects, including three notorious underworld figures, as part of the Yukthiya operation .
Among those detained, 773 individuals were apprehended for drug-related offenses. In addition , 34 suspects on the criminal watch list were handed over to specialized criminal divisions for further investigation.
Police headquarters reported the seizure of significant quantities of illegal substances during the raids. Authorities confiscated 52 kilograms and 616 milligrams of heroin, 142 kilograms of ice narcotics, and 453 milligrams of other drugs.
