A 20-year-old youth was killed by having his throat slit after an argument at a music concert.
Police identified the victim as Menura Nimtara Wanigasekara, a resident of Dodangoda.
Investigations revealed that the suspect is married to a woman who has left him and is living separately.
She had come to watch a music concert held at Kumudu Stadium in Kalutara, where it was discovered that she was dancing with a young man at the apparel factory where she works.
It was reported that the suspect killed the youth who was dancing with the girl with a sharp weapon.
