The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, announced today that online applications for the 2024 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination are now being accepted. The application window will remain open until June 14, 2024.
Jayasundara stressed the importance of adhering to this deadline, stating that no applications will be accepted after midnight on June 14, and there will be no extensions under any circumstances.
Eligibility for the examination is limited to students currently enrolled in Grade 5 at government or government-approved schools. Additionally, scholarships are available for students from low-income families who are under 11 years old as of January 31.

The 2024 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination is set to take place on September 15, 2024.
