President Ranil says Presidential election to be held first

President Ranil Wickramasinghe has informed the cabinet today that the presidential election will be held first this year. 

During the cabinet meeting held this morning, President Wickramasinghe emphasized that the presidential election should take place within the specified period this year in accordance with the constitution. 

The meeting was chaired by President Wickramasinghe.
