Anura Kumara Dissanayake, leader of the National People’s Power (NPP), has agreed to a June 6 debate with Sajith Premadasa, leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
This development was announced by Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa, an executive committee member of the NPP and coordinator for the debate, in a statement released on Monday.
Dr. Jayatissa indicated that he will discuss further details, such as the venue, time, and topics for the debate, with SJB MP Nalin Bandara, who has been appointed by the SJB to coordinate the event.
