All schools in the Puttalam District will remain closed tomorrow, May 21, due to continuing adverse weather conditions, announced the Education Director of the North-Western Province.
Schools in the district were already closed today in response to the severe weather, which has caused heavy rainfall and flooding in several areas.
The decision to extend the closures comes as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff amid ongoing inclement weather.
