Former Army Commander General Mahesh Senanayake has officially joined the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and has been appointed as the head of the party's Ranaviru Balakaya.
The Ranaviru Balakaya is a group of ex-military personnel who support the SJB. General Senanayake received his appointment from Party Leader Sajith Premadasa in a ceremony held this morning.
