A 32-year-old bus driver of a 'Sisu Sariya' school service has been arrested for sexual assault of a schoolgirl.
Police said the suspect driver, a resident of Kuliyapitiya, took the 15-year-old girl to a deserted area and sexually assaulted her in a car.
It was reported that the driver is also the owner of the school bus.
The suspect, a father of two, was reportedly maintaining a relationship with the minor girl who regularly goes to school by school bus.
