The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has issued a warning to the Health Ministry Secretary regarding his handling of the official vehicles and residence previously used by former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, presently in remand custody.
CIABOC has instructed the Health Ministry Secretary to promptly secure the vehicles and take possession of the former Minister's official residence.
Failure to comply by May 14 may result in disciplinary measures, as emphasized in a letter from CIABOC's Director General, W.K.D. Wijeratne.
Notably, the Secretary missed the earlier deadline of May 6 to provide progress updates as required.
