Nauzer Fowzie, a former Provincial Councillor and son of former Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, has been arrested by Kollupitiya Police for allegedly assaulting an individual following a vehicle accident.
The incident occurred on School Lane in Kollupitiya, where Fowzie is accused of hitting the person with his vehicle and subsequently assaulting them.
Fowzie has been released on police bail, and the Kollupitiya Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
