Five individuals suffered injuries in an acid attack near a pedestrian crossing on the Ratnapura Court Complex road.
Police said the attack was a result of a personal dispute, with the father of a victim involved in a fatal car accident allegedly targeting the person believed to be responsible.
Unfortunately, four bystanders were caught in the acid attack and sustained injuries.
All five victims have been swiftly admitted to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
Police have arrested the perpetrator of the acid attack.
