Three individuals tragically lost their lives in a collision near Bulogolla Junction in Potuhera along the Colombo-Kurunegala Main Road.
Police said the accident occurred when a three-wheeler collided head-on with a vegetable transport lorry traveling from Kurunegala to Colombo.
Of the four individuals traveling in the three-wheeler, all sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Kurunegala Hospital, where three succumbed to their injuries.
The identities of the deceased have yet to be confirmed.
The driver of the lorry has been arrested by the Potuhera police.
