The Supreme Court declared that the expulsion of Ampara District All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) MP S. M. M. Muszhaaraff from the party was unlawful.
The decision, delivered by a three-member bench led by Priyantha Jayawardena, came in response to a petition filed by MP Muszhaaraff challenging his expulsion.
