Two persons were reportedly killed in an accident on the Southern Expressway near the Kurundugahetekma Interchange, police said.
It is reported that two highway workers have died in the accident.
The accident occurred when a lorry transporting drinking water from Colombo collided with two workers who were washing the visible boards.
