Attorney-at-Law Manoj Gamage has tendered his resignation from his role as a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA). 

Gamage officially conveyed his decision in a resignation letter addressed to Minister of Health Ramesh Pathirana.

Effective today, February 13th, Gamage communicated his intention to step down from his position as a Director of the NMRA. In his resignation letter, he underscored his commitment to enhancing the NMRA's operations during his tenure, emphasizing his contributions as a lawyer to the organization's advancement. 

Gamage highlighted that he, alongside his fellow board members, diligently made decisions aimed at addressing various deficiencies within the NMRA.
