Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena congratulated L M Susal de Silva, who won the under 18 Chess Gold Medal at Asian Youth Championship 2024 held in United Arab Emirates
The youth champion met the Prime Minister at the PM Office on February 9.
The Prime Minister lauded Susal’s achievement and offered best wishes for his sporting future.
Susal’s mother, President of Youth Circle of Sri Lanka, Mahim Dissanayake and Sanasa officials Thusith Weerawardane and Saliya Silva were also present on this occasion.
