Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara took to X, formerly known as Twitter, today to announce a significant uptick in worker remittances for January, indicating an 11.4% surge compared to the previous year.
Nanayakkara's message on the social media platform revealed that worker remittances for January 2024 amounted to 487.6 USD, marking a notable increase from the corresponding period last year.
