The Minuwangoda police has arrested a man who tied a woman's hands and feet in the kitchen and dragged her 13-year-old daughter to a room and raped her.
Preliminary police investigations have revealed that the concerned person had an affair with the woman.
The 34-year-old, suspect, a resident of Kurunegala has been arrested over the incident.
The mother has filed a complaint with the Minuwangoda police that the suspect came home drunk and tied her up in the kitchen, dragged her daughter to a room and raped her.
The girl had been produced before a Judicial Medical Officer to undergo a medical examination.
