Police investigate doctor for alleged sexual assault at Aranayak Hospital

The police have initiated an investigation to arrest a doctor who was on duty at Aranayak Hospital for allegedly sexually assaulting a female doctor.

This doctor stands accused of sexually assaulting a female colleague who was also working at the hospital.

The Aranayake Police have launched the investigation following a formal complaint.

The aggrieved doctor lodged this complaint with the Kegalle Children and Women's Bureau after informing her parents about the alleged forcible touching of intimate areas by the doctor on duty.
