Sri Lanka's Power and Energy Minister, Kanchana Wijesekera, has received an invitation from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India to participate in the 'India Energy Week' conference in Goa.
The two-day visit, scheduled from 06 to 09 February, will see Minister Wijesekera engaging in various meetings, including bilateral discussions, ministerial roundtables, and sessions with key entities like the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Petronet LNG, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India, NTPC India, and other investors.
The conference, officially supported by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and held under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, is set to be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With a global attendance of over 35,000, featuring 350 exhibitors, 400 speakers, and 4,000 delegates, the event promises to be a significant gathering of policymakers, business leaders, and energy innovators from over 100 countries.
