At least ten inmates and a soldier were injured in a clash between two groups of inmates at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center in Polonnaruwa this evening.
Police said that the cause of the conflict has not yet been revealed, and the inmates have damaged the kitchens of the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center and several other places.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Welikanda Police.
