The Special Task Force of Police arrested a 39-year-old suspect with 192,000 narcotic pills which has a street value of more than Rs. 100 million in Wattala.
Acting on an intelligence report received by the STF Intelligence Division, a team of STF officers raided and searched a house in Wattala last night.
During the raid, a suspect was arrested with 192,000 of 150 mg capsules of Pregab (PREGAB), which are used as a drug without a legal license.
The suspect and the stock of narcotics pills were handed over to the Ederamulla Police Station for further investigation. .
