Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the sea areas off the coast
extending from Trincomalee to Hambantota via Batticaloa.
Showers or thundershowers may
occur at few places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Matara to Colombo via
Galle during the evening or night.
Winds:
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be (30-40) kmph.
Wind speed may increase up to 60 kmph at times in the sea areas off the coasts extending
from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from Hambantota to Pottuvil. Wind speed may
increase up to 50 kmph at times in the other sea areas around the island.
State of Sea:
The sea areas off the coasts extending from Colombo to Mannar via Puttalam and from
Hambantota to Pottuvil can be rough at times. In other sea areas around the island can be
fairly rough at times.
