Three individuals have been attacked with sharp weapons and robbed of their money and belongings in Pamunugama.
The victims, who arrived in a lorry to purchase a motorcycle, fell prey to an assault orchestrated by four assailants hidden along the road.
The attackers stole Rs. 132,000 in cash, 5 mobile phones, a necklace, and a bracelet before swiftly fleeing the scene.
The injured victims are currently undergoing treatment at Ragama Hospital.
Police said the Pamunugama police have identified the suspects responsible for the robbery and are conducting investigations to arrest them.
