Saman Perera, the leader of ‘Ape Jana Bala Party’ was among the five persons who were killed in the shooting incident reported in Beliatte this morning.
He was arrested and released in 2022 in connection with aiding and abetting a suspect connected to a murder took place in Kudawella.
He also faced allegations in connection with the murder of Chairman of Balapitiya Pradeshiya Sabha and his son.
