In a bid to elevate the skills and competencies of local coaches, trainers, and physiotherapists, Sri Lanka Cricket has opted to enlist the expertise of renowned international cricket figures.
The Executive Committee, led by President Shammi Silva, convened on January 16, making significant decisions to propel the game's advancement in the country.
As part of these decisions, the committee has chosen to engage the services of former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes, renowned for his expertise as a specialist fielding coach. Additionally, former India National Team fast bowling coach Bharat Arun and former Sri Lanka National Team physiotherapist Alex Kountouri are also set to contribute to periodic training programs in selected areas.
