Four suspects from Keselwatta in Colombo, have been detained by the Colombo Crime Division in connection with the murder of a resident on December 30th.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the motive behind the killing might be retaliation, as the victim had reportedly shared information about a drug dealer with the police.
Police said that all four arrested individuals are residents of the Keselwatta area.
The Colombo Crime Division is pursuing further investigations into the case.
