The prolonged strike action initiated by health workers is slated to conclude tomorrow at 8 am.

Despite a meeting between health trade unions and the Acting Finance Minister, along with other stakeholders, no concrete solutions were reached.

The Finance Ministry has pledged to bring the unresolved issues to the attention of the President, who is currently abroad. This move comes after a deadlock in negotiations, leaving health workers dissatisfied with the outcomes of the discussions.

Earlier today, representatives from the health trade unions engaged in talks with officials from the Health Ministry. However, in a turn of events, the concerns raised during the discussion were subsequently referred to the Finance Ministry, further prolonging the resolution of the ongoing dispute.
