Dr. Anne Doloras Perera, residing in St Johns, Auckland, has been honored with the prestigious title of Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit. Her recognition stems from over 40 years of dedicated service to food science, nutrition, and the community. Athula Cuda Bandara Wanasinghe, JP, is set to receive The Queen’s Service Medal for his outstanding contributions to the Sri Lankan community and cricket. His recognition underscores the significant impact he has made in both community service and the world of cricket, reflecting a lifetime of dedication.
Mr. Sadun Kithulagoda from Wellington, acknowledged for his services to the Sri Lankan community, has played a pivotal role in shaping the expatriate community for over two decades. As a key figure in various organizations, including the United Sri Lanka Association and the Sri Lankan Dance Academy, Kithulagoda has been instrumental in fostering cultural connections and supporting community events.
