In a recognition of its rapid revival, Sri Lanka secures the fourth position in Forbes' list of the top solo travel destinations for 2024.

Forbes highlights the island nation's appeal, offering solo travelers the opportunity to experience the emerging trend of slow travel by train. Thompson of Flash Pack, as quoted by Forbes, emphasizes Sri Lanka's comeback, citing its iconic upcountry train routes as a significant attraction.

With increasing interest from U.S. and U.K. travelers, 2024 is predicted to be the year when Sri Lanka regains its position as a leading destination for slow, immersive adventures. The top three destinations recognized by Forbes for solo travel are Japan, Argentina, and Egypt.
